1. Who we are
loan.me, Inc. ("loan.me", "we", "us") operates an online lending marketplace that connects U.S. consumers and small businesses with licensed lenders, card issuers, and insurance carriers. This policy explains what we collect when you visit www.loan.me or submit a quote, application, or other request through our platform.
2. Information we collect
Application data. When you request a quote or apply for a loan, card, or insurance policy, we collect identifying information (name, address, DOB), contact details, and the financial information lenders require to underwrite income, employment, housing, debts, and stated loan purpose.
Credit data. We do not perform credit checks on our platform. If you proceed to a formal application with a lender, that lender may perform a hard inquiry, which may affect your score.
Automatic data. Standard server logs (IP, browser, referrer, page viewed) and, with your consent, analytics cookies that measure aggregate performance and help us prevent fraud.
3. How we use it
- Match you with lenders and surface real, pre-qualified loan, card, and insurance offers.
- Service your account and communicate about quotes or applications in progress.
- Verify identity, prevent fraud, and meet our anti-money-laundering obligations.
- Improve our products, rate-comparison logic, and underwriting partner-matching.
- Comply with federal and state lending, consumer-protection, and tax laws (TCPA, ECOA, GLBA, FCRA, state-by-state lending statutes).
We do not sell your personal information. We do share it with lenders you ask us to match you with see Sharing below.
4. Sharing
Lenders and carriers. When you request quotes, we share the application data needed for the lender or carrier to return an offer. Once shared, those parties become independent data controllers governed by their own privacy policies.
Service providers. Hosting, fraud-prevention, identity-verification, e-signature, document storage, analytics, and customer-support sub-processors, each bound by confidentiality and data-protection terms.
Legal. We disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
5. Retention
Application and credit data is retained for the period required by federal and state financial-services recordkeeping laws (typically 25–84 months depending on product type and jurisdiction). Marketing inquiry data is retained up to 36 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
6. Your rights (CCPA, GDPR, and similar)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise a right, email support@loan.me. We respond within 30 days. Note: deletion may be limited by the recordkeeping obligations described in Section 5.
7. Licensing & regulatory disclosures
loan.me, Inc. is a loan broker and marketing lead generator not a lender, bank, or insurance carrier. All loan and insurance products are originated and serviced by our licensed partner institutions, who handle final approval, underwriting, funding, and servicing. 9. Security

10. Children
Our services are intended for adults 18 and older and are not directed to anyone under 18.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
